Recently Pioneer State Mutual sent the following to their agents:
We are excited to announce that we have launched our new My Pioneer mobile app! What’s different? The old app functionality was limited to some basic necessities, such as pay a current bill and report a claim. The new app will have absolutely everything available under My Pioneer account via psmic.com. That means insureds will be able to use the mobile app to make policy changes, manage saved payment methods, view claims history, enroll in paperless, etc. If it can be done on a desktop computer, it can be done with the new mobile app! The new app also has been upgraded to improve loading times and security. What’s the same?
- The app is still available for both iOS and Android devices.
- The username/password used for the old app, new app, and psmic.com is all the same. No need to change.
- Proof of Insurance for auto policies will still be saved on the login screen and conveniently available without logging in. (Login required to update to new details)
What’s happening to the old app?
The old app will be removed from the App Store and Play Store. For a few months, the app will still be functional for those who have it installed on their devices. Soon, within the old app, a message will display notifying users of the date it will be retired, along with details about the available app.
